Are you ready to hit the race track? The need for a motorsport medical depends on your age and the type of license you're after. If you're 18 or older and applying for a National Licence for the first time, a medical is required. From 18 to 45, a self-declaration will suffice. However, once you hit 45, an annual race licence medical is necessary, without the need for resting or stress ECG.
Now, if you're applying for or renewing a National Race, Truck, or Long Circuit Kart Licence and you're 60 or older or have previously declared medical conditions, you may need a comprehensive medical report. The examination will include an eye test, blood pressure check, and queries about your medical history. Buckle up, and let the medical checkered flag wave!
We complete national motorsport medicals at all our locations including Croydon, Dartford, Reading, Heathrow and Richmond.
Revving up for international adventures? Unfortunately, we only handle medicals for national UK motorsport licenses. For international licenses, you'll need to explore other avenues. Safe travels on your global motorsport quest!
If you're aged 60, 65, 70, 72, 74, or 75 and above, prepare for the trio of a medical, a 12-lead resting ECG, and a vision test. Remember, we don't arrange ECGs—your responsibility to sort that out separately. Stay healthy and keep those tests in sight!
Get ready for the pit stop of your motorsport medical! Our doctor will kick things off by verifying your identity and diving into a comprehensive assessment. Brace yourself for a detailed medical history review, a blood pressure check, a colour perception test, a visual acuity test, and even a urine analysis. We'll ensure you're in top gear for the track!
